This particular cruise has a wonderful itinerary! Plus, I like Princess!
If you are reading this, you are doing so because you are thinking about booking or already have on the Crown Princess. Rest assured, the Crown was WONDERFUL!! Yes, she is an older gal, showing her age a little but still a great ship with a spectacular crew! Yes, there was still a generator problem, not allowing us to go full speed, so our port times had to be adjusted, but it wasn’t much of a problem. We did excursions in every port (through Princess) so all the times had to be adjusted, which they did. If shopping is important, it did limit our time in port to do that, but always enough time to pick up a t-shirt.
Love the medallion!! If you are traveling with friends or family it’s awesome to be able to locate or text them! Makes a lot of things wayyyy easier! Plus, they have dedicated support people to help you with any issues you have or don’t understand!

Mini-Suite with Balcony
We love the extra room that a mini suite provides. Yes, the Crown is a little dated, but still clean, functional, roomy and very comfortable. We love having a balcony, having evening drinks or morning coffee on a balcony is worth the extra money for us! Note: the mini suites are on the lowest balconies, so you are not looking over other balconies, but the ones above are looking down on you. Our steward was wonderful, our rooms always very well attended!
