We have been on over 40 cruises throughout the years. We cruise on all cruise lines including Crystal, Princess, Holland America, and Celebrity; depending on our schedules. We took this cruise because of the reasonably good itinerary, but, sadly this cruse was a disappointment mainly because of the ship.

The major disappointment was the food. ( There were a few bright spots, like the soup and the steak in the Polo Grill. ) Other than that, the rest of the dinning experiences were sub-par. The bread were dry and hard. So were the pastries, the muffins and croissants.

The meat ( chicken, beef and all others ) in the main Dinning Room and the Terrace Cafe were tough and chewy. Same old, same old ice cream flavors every day and without much condiments variations.

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

The cabin was run-down. The furnitures in the cabin were all scratched up and chipped The closet doors could not close properly and, as a result, the closet lights were on the whole night. The TV was old and small with the wires dangling and exposed from under the TV.

The carpets were dirty.
