We chose this cruise because of its location, the Danube, and being able to sleep in the same place every night. We have taken bus tours before this trip. Most of all we chose this Viking cruise because everyone who had taken this cruise spoke very highly of it.The ship was a marvelous five star hotel, especially the cabin. We were very impressed with the regional food and tried it most nights. The paired wines were excellent. The best part of the trip were the people and the service. I have a favorite type of wine. One was chosen for me that was excellent. We were impressed that the service remembered our names, room numbers and our drink choice. They all had delightful personalities. The young lady who cleaned our room accommodated our every move with her cleaning. Mostly the shore excursions were excellent. Loved the cows! The guide in Bratislava was knowledgeable as were the others. However he added unnecessary information and opinions. The optional tour, A Taste of Budapest was excellent.

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

The cabin was very comfortable. We were amazed at how the bedroom and bathroom were designed in such a way to have plenty of storage space and moving around room.
