We chose this trip because we had never cruised on MSC before and the dates worked out well. Gorgeous ship, great cabin and wonderful trip! Nice and quiet - no crazy announcements whatsoever and we heard no noise from neighbors! The ship has a very cool, relaxed, retro Italian feel. The overall vibe was much more relaxed and sedate than other cruise lines, which was fantastic! No crazy twerking or loud music all day. The food arrangement at the buffet took a while to navigate as everything is at stations, but we never waited for anything in line, which was great!
We did have a big problem with the internet charges - apparently MSC charges both (or asll) parties on an account when a package is purchased. My husband purchased an internet account and in the end, we were charged $ 50 plus dollars each - especially bad since I brought no internet usable devices with me, This policy was NEVER explained upon purchasing, so beware!

Nice and roomy and the bathroom was great! Much nicer cabin than I was expecting and the service was wonderful!

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve
Beautiful island and plenty of activities! Our excursion was cancelled due to wind, but the beach was lovely and it was nice to be docked, rather than using tender boats. However, they don't have traditional lounge chairs - just hard Adirondack chairs and weird bean bag chairs, so it was very uncomfortable and you can't really lie down.
