We chose this ship because we had friends booked and it was a new ship. Very disappointed. We are loyalty Royal Caribbean cruisers and were sorry we leaped over to this ship. Disappointed in my time dining, shows, and same old food on the buffet in the evenings. We ended up with traditional dining at 5:15 (we usually eat later) but if we had chosen "my time or anytime" dining, we would have had to wait until 7:30. Food in the dining room was ok, nothing exceptional. We did eat at the steak house and it was very good. Our cabin steward was just ok. He did what he had to do, nothing more. We don't usually ask for anything special. Not many children on board which was a plus for us. The Captain of this ship is OUTSTANDING. He would show up anywhere or anytime, and do photo shoots or just visit with you. Of all the 24 cruises we have been on, this was a first for us. Didn't see the Cruise Director much, if at all. His assistants were great and friendly. Didn't like everything centered around the Piaza area (may have misspelled that). It was always noisy and crowded. Enjoyed the GS bar. The bartenders (Lou and Ryan) were the best. They intentionally got to know you. Casino was fun. Our cabin was a mini suite on the Lido deck and we loved it. Very nicely decorated and plenty of storage space. Andrea who works in the dining rooms was very friendly and helpful. I did a ship's tour and really enjoyed it. You got a nice swag bag with all the free photos delivered to your cabin, with a bathrobe, apron and some other stuff. If you're interested in attending this tour, you MUST sign up immediately after boarding. Only take 12 on the tour. All in all, we had fun even with the negatives. The ship is beautiful. You make lemonade from lemons on things that made you unhappy. If you go on any cruise, it's better than at sitting home.
Lots of room, great bathroom, nicely decorated
