My daughter and I decided to get away from the cold and take a cruise to Cozumel and the Grand Caymans. We got a pretty inexpensive interior room on the Carnival Paradise ship. Unfortunately it was the only one going the week we needed to go, talk about a ship that desperately needs a Rehab!! Everything is outdated and you can see it the minute you get on it, from the decks needing staining to the ugliest carpet anyone could have chosen.

The jacuzzi has old green tile that even had some mold on it and needed scrubbing. The food was very mediocre, the first night in the dining room tasted like it was leftover from the previous cruise. It did get a little better throughout the week, but was no better than any average Denny's or IHop restaurant.

This ship offered no shows, just a comedy show 4 nights with the same two comedians who got redundant. The pool is very small for the ship being able to hold over 2k people.

Interior

Small interior cabin on the floor just above the exit floor at the very rear of the ship, 3 doors from the back of the ship. You can definitely feel the rocking of the ship if you go through any rough water. Overall, the room is decent for 2 people, although it can hold 4, which I wouldn't advise. The shower was clean and did have good pressure.
