Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony
This was our 4th Princess cruise in the last 5 years. Three of those cruises were on the Royal and one on the Regal. The Royal is our favorite ship and she lived up to her reputation on this cruise. The cruise director, Marcus, was the best cruise director we have had in our 4 Princess cruises. The guest entertainers were fabulous, especially the comedian Carlos Oscar. We were disappointed in the production shows.They did not live up to the quality of the shows we have previously seen on Princess. The quality of the food in the dining rooms and the Horizon Court/Bistro was very good. Excellent service all around the ship with a very friendly crew. The cruise director's staff was great and kept us entertained. The medallion worked great. We were traveling with another couple and it was nice to be able to locate your ship mates. We enjoyed Puerto Vallarta, Mazaltan, and Cabo San Lucas. We only spent 6 hours in Cabo and wished that we had more time to explore the city and sight see. We did do a whale watching cruise and seen several whales.
Emarkation and dis-embarkation was a breeze and our airport transfers were very smooth. We will definitely book this cruise again.
Cabin Review
Mini-Suite with Balcony
Our first time in a mini-suite. The full size bath tub was nice, however, the remainder of the room was similar to a premium balcony room. Our cabin steward was ok, She took care of the basics, but visibility was limited. The medallion app worked great for ordering additional services. The bed was comfortable and the overall condition of the room was very good.

Cabo San Lucas
Great time, excellent crew on the boat, seen plenty of whales and sea lions.
Mazatlan
Took a tour of the city and stopped to watch the cliff divers. Bus driver and tour guide were very good. Tour guide's English was very good and he was personable and knowledgeable.
Puerto Vallarta
We went to Marival Emotion resort, an all inclusive with a nice beach, several pools, unlimited alcohol and food. A nice break from the ship
Los Angeles
Cruise port was quick and efficient. We stayed overnight at the LAX Marriott. A very nice updated hotel.
