We chose this cruise because first it is an area of the world we wanted to see and second because we have cruised with Viking before and really enjoyed the experience.

We started with a pre-extension to Patagonia. We visited both Terra del Paine and Los Glaciares National Parks. Both were beyond beautiful.

After the Patagonia pre-extension we boarded the ship in Buenos Aires. We had ports of call in Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Punta Madryn, Falkland Islands (which we had to skip because of high winds) Ushuaia, Punta Arenas, Puerto Montt and finally Valparaiso. We did have quite a few sea days and if sea days are a problem this cruise is definitely not for you.

Cabin Review

Wonderful cabin! Clean, lots of room, comfortable bed. Veranda has great view of bridge as we were just down on deck and aft from where the bridge sticks over the side of the ship. Waved to the captain and crew a few times.
