My wife and I have cruised many times, 17 on Princess, 2 on Carnival, 1 on Commodore, 1 on Norwegian, 1 on Royal Caribbean, 1 on Viking, and this cruise on Celebrity, so we are fairly experienced cruisers. We have had all accommodations from Inside Cabins to Owner’s Suites, and cruise durations from five to 16 days.

Our friends had cruised many times with Celebrity and Royal Caribbean, and we decided to pick a cruise together. The Celebrity Edge offered a good itinerary, great price, and a new ship for us to explore, so we chose a cruise departing Fort Lauderdale on January 19, 2020, visiting Key West, Playa Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman with two sea days.

First, let me tell you what we liked. Embarkation was a true joy. From entering the terminal to standing aboard ship could not have been more than 15 minutes. Be sure to use the Celebrity App, and download the boarding passes.
