A mother/adult daughter duo on our first river cruise! Staff and guests were so friendly and welcoming. The ship is pristine, so many thoughtful comforts, delicious and varied cuisine, themed programming relating to one's journey, and an outstanding activities director! The cabins were sleek and modern and had an astonishing amount of storage space, thoughtful amenities, and we would highly suggest a balcony room. Fabulous to watch the scenery as we floated past... We SO appreciated the AC everywhere, and it was pushed to the max while we all suffered through an unusual heat wave. The excursions were well organized, lively, educational, and we had excellent local guides for each excursion. The only suggestion I would make is for perhaps more onboard narration of the scenery or at least more written highlights that one could review to know more about what one is seeing. We especially appreciated the chilled towels upon re-boarding on those hot days, and a cold aperitif 'greeting' us was truly a delight! Could not have enjoyed ourselves any more than we did onboard the Lofn that week. Don't think twice, jump onboard!! :)

Right next to the reception desk, but there was no additional noise and it certainly made for quick entry! Excellent and thoughtful room steward. The little mini fridge in the cabin is perfect for keeping the water chilled or bringing onboard any snacks or beverages you choose. Bathroom is elegant and compact, but the shower was great with good water pressure and enough space for most guests. Individual climate controls for each cabin and plenty of storage space.
