We wanted a smaller ship for a less crowded experience and Viking came highly recommended. The itinerary included several places on our travel bucket list. We really enjoyed the on-board experience. Meals at the main dining room and the specialty restaurants were excellent and service was always friendly and attentive. The public spaces onboard the ship were lovely and very comfortable. The spa services, although pricy, were terrific.

We were somewhat disappointed with the free shore excursions (they were a bit pedestrian) and the amount of time available on shore. The one place we really wanted to tour was Curaçao but we had only limited time there due to strong headwinds that caused a 7 hour delay in our arrival.

I cannot say enough good things about the shipboard staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, efficient and helpful. We felt absolutely pampered by everyone, from the room steward to the restaurant servers to the spa technicians. This is where Viking really shines, in my view.

Cabin Review

The cabin was more spacious than expected and well-configured. I really liked the makeup table. Bathroom was a good size and layout. Most important was the exemplary service of our cabin steward. No request was unmet and many of our needs were anticipated in advance.
