we choose this cruise for the ports.the one thing we were disappointed about was not being able to stop in Poland. The various tours offered each day were all great, some days it was hard to decide what to do. I personally would prefer not to have to pay for all the additional tours but to have them included in the initial price.

We were given the option to upgrade to a suite which was wonderful. our cabin steward was very accomodating . Diner each evening was delicious. we enjoyed the Italian restaurant and the main dining room.

The lectures each evening about the next day's port were amazing, I highly recommend attending. Evening entertainment was also quite good. The staff in general went above and beyond to make each guest feel at home. I would love to know how Viking recruits such friendly helpful staff from the porters to the captain.
