Embarkation was very disappointing. There was absolutely no system of boarding the ship. On board everything was Italian themed. Even the quizzing and bingo was in Italian. If you are sailing in international waters you need to make allowances for other passengers as well because not only are Italians travelling on your ship but other nationalities. I think one of the bars should have had English music for at least a couple of hours for non Italian people to enjoy. I spoke to a number of groups while disembarking and they were all very disappointed. As for the food it was horrible. The meats were hard and had no salt or taste. As for the Indian counter the food was absolutely tasteless. The food in the Indian/Asian counters (I felt) were actually the food that the staff eat and Costa decided to make an Indian/Asian counter out of that. Very disappointing.

My cabin 6263 was very noisy. All night I could hear banging of doors and could not have a good nights sleep on the 8 day cruise. The staff at the information desk were not very helpful and would get irritated if you asked them a question. I have been on Princess cruises and they is absolutely stunning no comparision to Costa. Princess Cruises are a class above all. I will never ever cruise a Costa ship again.
