It was an experience of top-notch service, at every imaginable level! From the moment we first picked up the phone, and spoke with Farrah at Viking, we knew this was going to be an extraordinary adventure! We let Viking coordinate pretty much everything - from pre to post stays, and we took advantage of almost every one of their available tours (maybe overdoing it just a tad, but hey, you only live once!).

The pre-stay in Lucerne was nothing short of fantastic! Hotel Schweizerhof, the staff and included breakfasts were all impeccable. Our host provided a tour and history of the city, one can only get from a local!. We also signed up for the Mt. Stanserhorn tour in Lucerne - DO NOT miss these breathtaking views!!

The Eir was incredible: Our room was spacious and so well thought out! The staff were ALL so gracious and pleasant. The meals - Imaginative and delicious!! Even the wines they served with meals were special!! Every tour was informative and fun! Even the on-board game-night was made extra special by the crew's imagination and enthusiasm!! (I hope you are can tell that I could go on, and on, about what a great value we think we received by taking the Rhine cruise!)... Here's THE ONLY downside to Viking cruises: Like me, you'll be spoiled for life - I can only imagine taking Viking Cruises from now on!
