This was our 5th Viking Ocean cruise. Great ship and warm competent staff. The ship is very spacious and never seemed crowded. Love the long jogging deck where you can accumulate mileage without getting dizzy. The decor and feel of Viking is very unique - like being in someone's home. A plethura of book and accouterments give the ship a warm and cozy atmosphere.

This is an adult cruise with no children under 18. As a result, the experience is quite tranquil... no scream kids or babies; no elevators for all decks have been called; no running in the halls etc. There is no "selling" on-board so massages are peaceful; no queues for photographers; no obnoxious announcements touting "deals" etc. A shore excursion in each port of call is included in the price - a very nice feature and, again, avoids selling.

The staff is uniformly experienced and professional with a solid command of English. Personable and congenially, the staff greatly enhances the cruise experience. Read more
