We chose to cruise with Viking to explore the fjords of Norway with a group of our friends. It was our first time on Viking and our first experience of Norway. We were very impressed with both.

We appreciated the all-inclusive feature of the fares -- no extra charges for the specialty dining, wine and beer included with meals made the cruise even more enjoyable.

The service on Viking was exemplary from our arrival in Oslo through our final morning in London. Our group of 10 ate in the private dining room a number of times and enjoyed the service and the personality of our private server. When we were in the main dining room, we had the same table for each dinner, and, again, terrific service by a wait staff whose personalities endeared them to us all.

Cabin Review

Plenty of room, great service.

Port Reviews

Geiranger

Nice workout and views of the fjord that were breathtaking from the kayaks.

Kirkwall

Quaint town. Relaxing walks and great fish and chips

Edinburgh (South Queensferry)

Very hot and crowded during our visit. I think we'd have enjoyed exploring on our own just as much as the tour.

Tromso

Interesting museum and good overview

Bergen

Beautiful city. Wandered through the old city, ate at a lovely restaurant on the harbor, and enjoyed the view from the heights.
