  3. MSC Armonia
We are experienced cruisers and had never sailed on MSC before. When we saw an attractive offer we thought we'd try them. The Armonia is one of their oldest ships and in need of a major refreshment. From the minute we boarded we were bombarded with offers of drink packages, spa treatments and all types of upcharges. No one to greet us when we boarded. The WiFi packages are outrageously expensive. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and read a book you're out of luck on this ship. The crew members were friendly but undertrained. The buffet area lacks adequate seating for the number of people on board and you get to bus your own table as the number of crew in this area is lacking in number and training to keep up with the demand. It doesn't help that some tables are reserved for crew only. The food is marginal at best with most everything being overcooked and dried out. We tried the upcharge ($35) Surf and Turf restaurant where we were served cold food. The private island will be beautiful when it is finished. Currently it is lacking in directional signage and crew member knowledge. It's dangerous with the number of vehicles using the sidewalks which included tractors and a forklift truck. We met some cruisers who have been on newer MSC ships and said they had a positive experience and were disappointed on the Armonia. I don't blame the crew for disappointing service as management as failed to train them properly. Sorry MSC but you burned your bridge with us.

Very Disappointing
