Our family and friends choose this cruise out of our nearby port of Galveston. We Grandparents are experienced cruisers (52x). This is NOT a luxury cruise, the young kids were not thrilled with the care centers, entertainment ok for kids but very poor for adults, and food was extraordinarily bland and unavailable. Very limited food available after a show for hungry kids waiting for late dining ( after he show they missed eating in the childcare and the pizza is closed and no buffet. What!!!?? dinner hours--any other cruise line ship has multiple options. Doors were rarely handicapped available or stroller friendly and on 2 occasions closed hard on me struggling with a stroller. Service was OK. My sister, a first time cruiser and unaware of UNPOSTED costs, ordered a smoothie which did not have a properly fastened lid and subsequently spilled all over her---the response at customer service was "we'll look into it". Yes, we finally got the charge reversed and 2 bags of popcorn as an apology after I addressed their response. On debarkation there are no comfortable waiting areas and the restrooms were non functional or out of toilet paper..

We immediately went to another cruise on Carnival Fascination (old and small) and it was an amazingly positive experience reminding us how bad Disney was. An apology for a delayed unwashed window was a bottle of wine. Food was extraordinary. Sorry for those who think Disney is good.
