Great anytime dining experience, the 'Vines' wine bar was a great way to socialize before dinner. Piazza entertainment each night while having a glass before dinner. Stateroom was clean and well kept by our able steward. The ports were all interesting in their own way, Dominica was still suffering the effects of a past hurricane, organization was lacking here. Movies under the Stars was a little hit or miss, sometimes the sound was just bad. Theatre productions were all top notch, the comedians were both very entertaining and kept it clean, thanks for that. The Medallion experience is very convenient, allowing you to access your drink package anywhere, anytime. Every beer on their menu was covered by the package and very few cocktails were excluded based on the $12 cap. You just pay the extra buck or two on your folio if your drink cost more than the cap. I tried mixed cocktails I would never otherwise pay for in real life! Fabulous coffee bars, I suggest going to the Coffee & Cones for your morning 'Americano', no line up. Usually a short line at the International Cafe coffee bar. Liquor bars everywhere! Wheelhouse was a great spot for a pre-dinner drink, often had a singer, guitarist performing. Read a travel guide and figure out what YOU want to see on the island and then walk ashore and hire a taxi yourself, negotiate a fair price and you will have a great experience. Don't worry about being back on time, nothing is that far away!

Cabin Review

Balcony

Nice compact balcony room with a shower only. Bed fabulous! The enlarged balcony was a huge bonus for us as we used it to relax, have a drink, read, sun. Huge screen TV, it was rarely on. The rooms have no clocks, so bring a small one from home. The wake up call service is programmed by you and worked well. Steward took very good care of the room and us.
