This was our second time on the EPIC and eight NCL Cruise. Both of us are avid cruisers who choose itineraries rather that the ship when making a decision to cruise . We flew into San Jaun two nights prior to embarkation and so glad we did. Old San Juan was a wonderful place to explore prior to the cruise.
Both embarkation and disembarkation was the smoothest we have seen in all our cruises.
One of the things we do prior to a cruise is to research and plan ahead, it makes for a much better vacation and the tips from other cruisers have really assisted us when making choices especially when it comes to ports. Since this was our second time on the ship we knew exactly what to expect.
Spacious room with more than enough storage. Comfortable bed and linens. Fanastic cabin steward.
Beautiful city especially Old San Juan. Could have spent a week there.
We rented a car from Advance and the service was fantastic. Would use them in a heartbeat. Drove the island and went to Shete National Park as well as some beaches along the way. At one beach there were tours there from the ship who were swimming with the turtles. Awesome.
Beautiful Island. The Piton's...breathtaking.
It rained cats and dogs the day we were in port and we chose not to do an excursion. We did go to the terminal which had tons of shopping. The port is around a mile from town . We have been in Barbados before and thoroughly enjoyed the town. Carlisle Bay is well known as well as is Harrison's Cave. A favourite port for many.
