Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

Just finished two weeks on the Sky Princess and what a disappointment. Food was hardly fresh in the World Fresh Marketplace. We were surprised to find RAW chicken on the serving line. When we show it to the Chief - he had nothing but excuses although he did immediately remove the item from the line. Dining room food was barely average. Cabin steward's are being asked to handle more cabin's (heard as many as 18) and that is clearly impacting their performance. Glass shelves in the bathroom was not cleaned for embarkation. Room didn't get vacuumed every day. Our balcony was never cleaned and the salt build-up on the table was shocking. Dining room waiters must being asked the same because service in the dining room was terrible. Our waiter even apologized several times for the poor service. Elevators were often out of service. Wake-up call system was inoperative. The production shows (Rock Opera & 5 Skies) were great. Brian Justin Crum was fabulous. Unfortunately, Princess Cruises is/has been moving away from entertainers to more game type activities. Using facial recognition technology during disembarkation is a huge improvement. Sky Princess needs some time to tighten-up everything before I would recommend this ship - six months as a minimum.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Standard mini-suite. New ship so everything in cabin was new.
