We choose this cruise specifical for the room (Scenic Grand Ocean View) and it was totally worth it. The room cost a little bit more than a normal Oceanview but less than a balcony. Since it was the corner room, it had tons of open space.
We traveled with a group of adults and kids. Everyone had a great time. Carnivals anytime dining worked great even with needed two larger tables. We were also able to get tables immediately next to each other without every having to wait.
The Seaday Brunch was delicious.
The cabin was awesome. Its extended size because of being corner room. Very front of ship with floor to ceiling windows. Highly recommend trying to get this room if available.
I went to the wrong port initially so we were cutting it really close when we arrived. The porters were gone so we had to carry on all of our bags ourself. Figuring out where to park and then where to go from there to get onto ship was confusing but once we found that we got on easily. It was a pain waiting for elevators and one person in our party ended up walking up 6 flights of stairs carrying two suitcases.
The beach area to the left when you get off of the tender is significantly quieter and less crowded than the main area to the right.
We just walked around the main port area and then down to the free beach. Nothing worth reallying noting.
