We received a beverage package as one of our perks and automatically were charged $250 per person for gratuities. I had no problem with that until I discovered we were also charged an ADDITIONAL gratuity for each and every beverage ordered on top of what we had already paid!!!
NCL also charges $15 per day per passenger for "behind the scenes" employee services. This cruise line is now traded on NYSE. If they can't adequately pay employees maybe the CEO and other corporate big Whigs should take a cut in salary and increase employee pay!
They also charge for shows. Yes there is one or two freebies but really?
