We chose this cruise based entirely upon cost. And we got what we paid for. The ship was far too large and crowded for my comfort. I knew we had a problem on the first day when we checked in and were not referred to the proper desk (Diamond members not referred to the desk dealing with them). We found our way to our cabin, and when we attended the lifeboat muster, I was amazed that we were not told where we would find the life vests should they be needed. We were not told how a handicapped passenger would be cared for. Luckily, none of that information was needed.

The food was better than expected and the benefits of being rated a Diamond member were excellent. The tables in the dining room were very crowded -- not at each table, but how close the tables were together.

On the whole, I was disappointed with MSC. The bathrooms were under-sized, storage was next to impossible.

Cabin Review

Aurea Balcony Stateroom

Accommodations were very tight. I disliked the duvet -- I wrestled with it each and every night. The couch was is poor condition.
