Viking helped make this bucket list trip both easy and enjoyable! There were plenty of opportunities for experiences in Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand involving indigenous animals, native peoples and spectacular scenery. Onboard activities were also plentiful, both during the day and at night. These included fascinating educational talks and videos; unique shopping events; the use of a wonderful spa and pool; wine tasting and cocktail parties; various shows and musical groups and even an observatory! There were also several wonderful restaurants with varied menus and types of seating. Among our favorite excursions were the Sydney Opera House; an animal reserve outside Hobart, Tasmania; the Australian Open in Melbourne; and numerous cultural experiences with the Maori people in New Zealand. The scenery itself was also breathtaking, particularly in both the small ports and mountainous areas of New Zealand. We went with a group of friends and enjoyed an incredible trip, complete with delicious meals, well planned onboard entertainment and impeccable service. My brother and sister in law are actually taking the same trip this month!

Cabin Review

Our cabin was plenty spacious with ample storage and a nice balcony where we enjoyed spectacular views, particularly as we pulled into and out of various ports.
