Wanted to do a River cruise. We had never done a river cruise and heard that Viking was a good choice. We were very happy about the whole cruise , from the the start. The hotels were excellent. The tours very good. The staff and the food excellent. Nothing to complain about.

We will do more river cruises. Viking is very good. The Viking personnel ls very organized and attentive to everyones needs. The cabin was keep very clean as well as the rest of the ship. My favourite part was when we came back onboard from a tour , we removed our shoes and they were cleaned and returned to our cabin.

The ringing of the breakfast, lunch and dinner bell , was a very nice touch. It was good to go ashore where there was no other ships to contend with. In some stops the crew even built stairs for us to climb in order for us to go ashore . Love the smaller ships. Read more
