Overall this was a great cruise. We learned a lot about Asian culture in all of the ports. We were shocked at the pollution and wondered why Viking did not provide masks for those who wanted them as we went ashore. For the most part the excursions, both included and those we paid for were enjoyable. We do think Viking could do a better job with the excursion descriptions. For instance, we thought we’d be able to get very to the Statue of Jesus at Vung Tau in Vietnam. However we could only see it from across the street. It was our most expensive and greatest disappointment.

The cabin was very adequate and our stewards all over the ship were great. Some of the entertainment was good but we do think Viking could improve in this area. The lectures were very informative.

Viking is not our ship of choice but overall we do enjoy the sailing. We will be on aRiver Cruise in late August to Germany, Austria and Hungary. We’ve never sailed on such a small ship so we are another adventure!

Cabin Review

You have greatly improved your cabins from our last sailing. Better storage and seemingly more room but still a bit tight.
