We have always wanted to visit St. Petersburg, Russia and see the Hermitage Museum. And added bonus was the ability to visit the Faberge Museum which was fantastic too. The alternative visits included Catherine the Great's Summer Palace which was a very "Russian" view in architecture and a beautiful venue. There were just so many great experiences and the tour guides were very personable, making the tours so memorable. We also were able to visit Copenhagen on this trip. We had several tour guides who were among the very best we have experienced on any of our trips. The old city was a fantastic experience, and yes, we did see the Little Mermaid. We also visited Stockholm for several days and were very impressed. If you get the chance to go by all means visit the Vasa Museum and view the raised 400 year old Vasa warship which sank on its maiden voyage an d lay buried in the Stockhom harbour for over 400 years. They have beautifully restored this massive ship and it was incredible.

The Viking Sky is a beautiful ship with many terrific venues and offerings. It was luxurious and yet comfortable. The staff were first rate. The whole experience was memorable.
