This was our third cruise on Edge not counting a 2 day Charity cruise in November ‘18 and stayed in an S1 cabin starboard side.
The cruise was great but started off with 3 days of very rough seas, thank you Bonine.
We really had fun eating on this cruise. Our favorite restaurant was Eden where every course was excellent. Dinner at Fine Cut, Prime Rib, was the best we’ve had at this venue (third time was a charm). Raw on 5 got our business twice for dinner.
For lunch we ate 3 times in Le Grand Bistro, twice at the Retreat Bar and a couple in Luminae. At LGB the onion soup and lobster bisque were really good. Also the lamp chops, Coq au Vin and, according to DH, the burger were all excellent. The desserts were also wonderful with the Floating Island coming in first place.
We only took in two shows, Mirage at the Club and Eden. Mirage was very entertaining and Eden and the Edenites continue to be kooky. The musical acts on board were enjoyable. Captain Kate’s q & a was a hoot, what a wonderful personality she has. As we departed on Sunday she was there in the terminal thanking everyone for sailing on the Edge and wishing us all a safe journey home.
We loved hanging out on the Eden ramp every morning after breakfast and catching the late night entertainer (10:15 and/or 11:15) in this spot. One thing not to miss in Eden are the brownies at lunch in the Cafe.
Finally, we loved the layout of our cabin. If booking another Sky Suite on the E Class we would definitely book one with the bed facing the veranda. The room was very spacious, had plenty of storage room and a very nice bathroom.
