We loved our pre-cruise excursion to Machu Pichu! Jupiter was the perfect size ship for us - adults only, perfect level of amenities, very gracious staff, all the comforts we could ever want - including lots of movies, TV channels and music in our room. The Christmas and New Year's celebrations onboard were wonderful - music, food, and decorations were so festive. The entertainment was fabulous and we always looked forward to attending the evening events. Plus, the lecturers were very knowledgable on topics like history, geology, astronomy, and economics. There were a good variety of ports of call & excursions to choose from. We especially loved going to the penguin nesting ground at Puerto Madryn, Argentina, and seeing the Magellanic penguins up close! The tour guides that Viking chooses are exceptional and eager to share their knowledge and experiences with us. We will definitely sail with Viking again and recommend it to others.
