I chose this cruise for the itinerary, wanted to do a Chile/Argentina cruise and knowing we would be in big seas a large ship was preferred. We booked aqua class for Blu dining and thought we would use Persian Garden spa area.

Highs: nice ship, very stable, our room was excellent (we are not big on Celebrities redos and this ship isn't being changed till later this year). Blu dining great as usual. Service was great for most things. Nice gym. Buenos Aires is a nice city to visit.

Lows: ship was full and seemed a bit crowded. Persian garden was always crowded and not a place you wanted to be. We missed 2 of the better of our 6 stops which resulted in too many sea days, the first (Punta Arenas) because of bad weather and the second (Punta del Este) for no good reason (weather claimed by it was nice out). The excursions were hit and miss and not good value. Santiago Chile is a mess because of full on, daily rioting that has closed the metro and many services. Celebrity should be advising people on conditions and where to stay, we were subjected to tear gas etc.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 1

nice cabin, excellent bathroom and shower, great cabin attendant. The room is slightly dated but nicer than the new redone version.
