We always enjoy our Princess cruises. The captain felt that 3 of our ports on our southern 10 day were not safe due to weather conditions. They gave us 35% of our cost back to use toward our next booking! We also got a 75.00 credit per person for missing Princess Cayes. That was a wonderful gesture they were not obligated to make! The medallion is a great addition, although signal was weak in some parts of the ship. Cabin with balcony was wonderful! Crown Grill was fantastic. If I had any suggestions where improvements could be made, it would be nice if somehow they could monitor people saving chairs at the pool. Out of 6 sea days, there was only one day we got a chair! People put towels on them in the morning, and leave to do other things. Also medallion didn't always work due to weak wifi signal. Expanded room service menu would be great. Have more entertainment venues. We got tired of not getting in to see what we wanted, or having to stand in line for everything. I feel Royal Caribbean has much better entertainment and shows. More variety and more show times make for less lines. Getting a seat anywhere in the piazza was impossible, too. They need to make bigger efforts to have all elevators operating! Waiting long, and having them open to find them full got frustrating. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Princess tries VERY hard to make sure their passengers are happy. We are ready to book another cruise with them.

Cabin Review

Balcony

We loved our cabin. The shower is a bit small, but not a big deal. We loved this deck for our balcony because it was more private. The top was covered, which the lower floors weren't totally. We could look down and see them. Due to the fact that ours was totally covered, it felt more private. The bed was soooo amazing. It's the most comfortable mattress I ever slept on. Pillows were amazing, too! Robes were hard to get and run very small, but would still recommend getting them. There is plenty of room to hang clothes, and places to put folded clothes. With the patter and all the paperwork you get, I would recommend staying on top of keeping it organized to reduce clutter in your cabin. We brought some of our own decorations for the cabin. You can put them up with magnets. We also decorated our door which made it fun, and very easy to find. This was a good deck to be on, and toward the back of the ship tends to ride more smoothly. I'd get this cabin again.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Ft Lauderdale is an amazing beautiful city. Go a day before your cruise and check out the riverwalk. Use the water taxi, and enjoy looking at the yachts! You can also take a tour by boat to see the beautiful homes. Dania pier is a short drive away to go have lunch, and enjoy the ocean. Hollywood beach is a close uber to the pier, and our favorite place to stay the night before we cruise. The ocean is beautiful with its warm temperatures and beautiful tropical shades of blue and green. Don't miss the fish fry at Bonnie and Reeds Toucan Hideout, and a Miami Vice at McGowans.

St. Thomas

A great way to see the island and learn its history. Photo stops at Magens Bay, and shopping opportunities are available.
