This being our first cruise with Norwegian, I had higher expectations than we received. With so many other cruise lines, I have no reason to return to this cruise line.
This ship and others Norwegian ships have no docking rights, so they don't go pier side, you have to be tendered in. And when the seas are rough, they just cancel your port visit. With a too bad so sad... no refund, NOTHING.... No where did I find that we would be tendered in. You don't know this until on board and read it on the daily itinerary.
ONE Line to get off the boat, which was LONG and wrapping around...
Interior rooms are like a shoe box.
Drawer fronts fell off and had to be fixed.
Shower flooding over, and not draining. Flooded into cabin and needed a blower to dry it out.
Sofa hard as a rock, which was one of the beds for my teen.
Battery in the safe died.
No ventilation
AC not working to capacity
Certain decks had their water turned off, for what they called "routine maintenance". Why would you be having routine maintenance while at sea???
Once out of the port area, and past all the husslers, just take a taxi to the beach boardwalk... Great deals and food.
