From the moment we stepped into the ship until we arrived at the airport, it was top notch service. We ate at the restaurants and buffet. The buffet food compared to any to restaurant on other cruise lines. The atmosphere on board was excellent, no crowds or loud partying. Elegant parties with excellent food and drink. Excursions were well guided, knowledgeable and entertaining. We had trouble with our flight and Viking did everything possible to get us to our ship. Due to our flight we missed our excursion in the port city. Viking refunded us the cost. The flight was not their fault, but they did everything they could to make up fo it. It was our anniversary and we found a cake and champagne in our room upon arrival. The service for our room was excellent with everything we needed and asked for. We booked another cruise while on board.
