So I had two rings stolen from my cabin worth over $2000 by a crew member. This theft was reported to Security who after my husband and I had already searched our room twice, searched it again with video cameras going. This theft was escalated to the Ft. Lauderdale police and the Detective tried to recover them with no luck. Finally this matter was escalated to the CEO who had her Executive Team advise that she would not compensate us for this theft. The Celebrity terms and conditions state that they are not responsible for anything stolen from your cabin, even if it is in your safe. All potential passengers need to read the fine print because what the cruise line does not tell you will harm you. It seems outrageous to us that the cruise lines hold port talks to convince passengers to buy unique jewelry and then aren’t responsible when it’s stolen.

embarkation- Embarkation on to the Equinox went fine.

service-The service by the Cabin steward was good, the dining room service was excellent, however as stated I had 2 rings worth over $2000 stolen from my cabin. The security team on board did a terrible job as they didn’t recover my rings. This was after they searched the cabin with video tape going. This theft as you can imagine pretty much ruined the last 3 days of our cruise.
