After doing a lot of research my husband and I decided to book our first Viking cruise to the Mediterranean. I’ve been on a few cruises prior to this one and my expectations were high after reading the reviews and reading up on a Viking cruise line. We were not disappointed! To start with we had a Viking plus who arranged our flights, no snags at all. As they had said they were there to meet us right away after getting our suitcases dividing us up into groups and taking us by bus to the ship. Once we got to ship we are in the room in 20 minutes no lie! We ran around the ship for a couple hours to find out where everything was and ate at the buffet which was superb. I have to say as far as I was concerned the specialty restaurants were excellent as were all the others. Entertainment was so so my husband and I are 61 and 63, They had a small band playing by the staircase one night a lot of people were dancing even my husband and I, had a great time. They had a chocolate Extravaganza night unbelievable chocolate. Before each destination you can go to the theater where they give you a little seminar on what you will find, they are well prepared for us. The excursions we had that were not included were good, especially the one in Dubrovnik. We went to the large jacuzzi, ice room, steam room, in the robes and slippers they provided for us in the room. The service was excellent at all the restaurants, maid service was excellent if we ever had a question it was answered asap, room service was spot on. I don’t what else I could really say but wow, we have booked another cruise for March of 2021.

Cabin Review

Compared to cruise lines I have been on previously no one holds a candle to Viking with their cabins, the heated bathroom floors are absolutely wonderful. Just a wonderful room with a balcony
