Our first cruise we decided to choose Viking. Smaller ships, less likely to have children and more people our own age. We are not explorers so we wanted to choose the best atmosphere for us. Viking gave us great options. Excursions to choose from were awesome. We enjoyed everyone of them. Free and the ones we had to pay for. I would recommend investigating and researching ahead of time as there are so many options. Always hard to decide which one you want to see more. I would like if we had more days in certain ports though so you didn't have to pick and choose. The cabinets were above our expectations. Balconies, beds and bathrooms were better than some of the great hotels in Las Vegas USA. I would sail again with Viking over any other one because of what we have experienced. The staff and crew.. I can not express enough how greatly they treat you. The cabin stewards assigned to us were the best. Always going above and beyond their job to make you feel comfortable and always took to the time to chat with you and get to know you.

Every staff member from bartenders to the cleaning crew always took the time to see how you were, was there anything we needed or just said hi, "how was your day". The food was to die for. Never disappointed in the options you are given in those choices. We had room services every morning for breakfast and was never disappointed. I feel like I lost weight on this cruise. 3 meals a day and lots of activities.. No potato chips in sight.. GREAT!!! I just loved everything about this cruise. Entertainment was great. The singers and entertainers we met and some of their family members who were on the ship also. They were sweet and nice and the most friendly. I would tell everyone I know to do Viking. You would not be disappointed.

Cabin Review

Think we were in 4101 could of been 4103. The cabin was comfortable and most enviting. The balacony was the best feature to us beacuse we could relax and sit and watch the sunset and the sunrises. THe bathrooms are top notch and all things about this speaks comfort.
