My family and I are ship explorers and this would be our 4th cruise with Celebrity. This time it was only my husband and I and it was a relaxing trip. Celebrity is really not for kids especially the Equinox. If you're looking to have fun and party this is not the ship for you. Besides the silent disco there was absolutely nothing fun to do. Yes this was a short cruise but it should have had more entertainment. Only 1 comedy show at 11. Two repeat shows on the same day. The Buffett was the smallest that I've seen on any ship so far and we've been on many ships. The buffet flow was weird and not too many options. Both sides had the same stuff. This buffet sucked. 90% of the passengers were 70 plus with the majority of them staring at the young crowd as if you didn't belong. The lawn club offers a movie with nowhere to sit because you weren't even allowed on the grass and it had no seating options like really why would you show a movie if you have nowhere to sit. The second day it was very choppy the entire night, glad we had medication. The gym was great not too crowded. The Elysium show was great. The arcade...well it is what it is like I said this cruise line does not catet to kids. The casino is smoke free so that was a huge plus. Room steward was friendly and super fast. The staff was very friendly. The ship is beautiful and clean I just wish this ship catered to all ages. Not everyone wants to see rock and roll shows, the schedule needs to have a variety of music and shows. Defenitely not sailing on this ship again but will try other Celebrity ships.
