MSC Divina, wow where do I even begin... I got off her today, first off we got to the port on sailing day at about 10:45 this is the first cruise I have ever been on that didn’t let you get on the ship before 12 they started boarding everyone at 1-1:15 we got on the ship went to the buffet had lunch they were already out of soup some How even though we were the first ones on the boat? We then go do a tour of the ship at that point it was almost time for our staterooms to be ready I feel like they weren’t ready for us, the ship was absolutely filthy the bar staff acted as if they have never bartended before how do you not know that Bombay sapphire is a gin and not a vodka are you kidding me? The crew on this ship did not was to be there what so ever, they were extremely unhappy makes you bummed out when you save up your pennies to take this trip, my favorite thing to drink is moscato by day 3 they were completely out of it they kept telling me to get something else.. why should I have to get something else when that’s what I like to drink and you were out of it? That’s not my problem.. the MSC marine reserve(the private island in the Bahamas) was awful, the food was absolutely covered in millions of flies as well as the bars, you know how many times a fly poops? every 30 seconds! We went back to ship after an hour so for some weird reason our room attendant kept hiding our remote.. so we had to call him twice because we couldn’t find it I don’t know if he thought he was going to get some kind of tip out of It or what but it was pretty rediculous so I guess MSC is not part of any kind of sanitizing like royal Caribbean and all the other cruise lines do “washy washy happy happy” half the time there was absolutely no sanitizer in the dispenser, as well as the bathrooms had no soap most of the time so gross, btw i got off the boat today and I now have the flu and spent hundreds of dollars at the doctors today to get medicine because your cruise line doesn’t care for cleaning hands or sanitizing on that topic I saw employees let the tongs hit the floor in the buffet area and they just put them back on the buffet line not even clean them! They also let their guests grab the food with their bare hands unbelievable on to my next topic, why can you not bring a cocktail near the jacuzzi or pool? You literally pay these life guards to yell at you while your supposed to be “on vacation” and tell you can’t have a cocktail while your relaxing in the pool? Wow but children can jump and dive in the pool. The beds in the staterooms are like sleeping on plywood! We had a bulb out in our bathroom for most of the trip as well let the state room attendant know about it but he didn’t seem to care about much. The theater should probably have handrails as well I saw multiple people falling, kind of a big deal. I honestly know why this cruise was cheap they say “you get what you pay for” and I sure did get what I paid for and would never take MSC again even if someone paid me to go on it.
