This is our 2nd princess cruise and 3 with other lines. We wanted to try a New ship so we choose this ship based on itiniary including Mexico (Costa Maya and Cozumel) Roaton Hondouras and Belize. First the good. Food in almost all venues was very good. Breakfast and evening dining rooms and specialty restaurants. Food service better than previous cruises. one disappointment was Sabatini's. Best selection of wines than on other cruises. Especially enjoyed a wine tasting (additional fee) offered one sea day. Very good selection of the wines featured and lite bites. Now the not so good. While the weather during our cruise was somewhat rainey on several days the ship's movement or turbulance was very rough. The ship rocked and shuddered constantly the first day at sea to the extent we became disoriented. It came and went during the entire trip. We thought our cabin location was a poor choice but many passengers complained about it frequently. This is such a concern that we would not choose this ship again. We choose to upgrade from a balcony to a mini-suite. While our room was very nice with larger bath our balcony was miniscule. Our balcony cabin on previous Princess cruise was larger and cabin was not that much smaller. Disappointing. The nightly entertainment was also disappointing. There was a comedian on 2 nights, a musical duo, a movie one night and the last night was a true production show which we were expecting. We expected better. Lots of "game shows" which is ok but not a substitute for better entertainment. A source of much guest chatter and complaints was incorrect information about dining venues and hours of operation. Patter had some info which conflicted with other information shared on board and at dining rooms. Seems like they are still working on the basics. The ports we visited were fun. We choose 2 princess excursions and were pleased with both snorkeling trip in Belize and catamerian sunset sail in Cozumel. We are sampling cruise lines to see which line we want to establish loyality to gain perks. Princess certainly deserves consideration but we will try others before making our decision.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin MA
Room was a quite nice and larger bath but balcony was miniscule. Difficult getting on and off balcony. Furniture is too large for space.
