We recently went on Carnival Horizon and I chose this ship because it looked like there was a lot to do. When we first got on the ship I missed the grand appearance of the atrium. It was beautiful but toned down. We had an ocean view room on deck 1 and it was great. We had two washrooms which was nice.

We took the stairs a lot it was just faster at times. The new elevator system isn’t complicated you just have to wait a bit. Breakfast was disappointing as it was the same menu every morning. Dining room dinner menu was really good, lots of variety. Guys burgers...yummy! I think the ship needed more pools and hot tubs for its size. Entertainment was ok, especially on sea days there wasn’t that much to do. Our cruise director Mike was great! I’ve been on Royal Caribbean as well and if I compare the two I think Royal is better experience and food wise. Ports were fun: Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Mexico
