If you are interested in seeing and learning about the Ancient Greek, Roman, and Minoan cultures, this is the cruise for you. Viking offers five star service all the way through along with a good selection of excursions. The food and wine selections are also the very best. Whether eating at The Restaurant, The Chefs Table, or Manfredi’s there is something you will like. There are great alternatives at Mamsens and Wintergarten, as well as the buffet at the World Cafe. The cold plunge pool and dry sauna were also great. We did find that the organization or selection of a couple of the excursions could have been done better, but they were still better than other cruise lines. Also, the entertainment is not the best, but it was still a good time. There were several places on the ship to relax and enjoy a drink, all with a good atmosphere. Torshavn was a nightclub setting with a good selection of Armagnac. Also good drinks and atmosphere at the Pool bar, Explorers Lounge, Aquavit Terrace, and Atrium.
Cabin was great! Veranda view in the middle of the ship. Offered excellent view of the ports. Room was spacious enough to relax in, it even included binoculars, stocked refrigerator, and a vanity mirror. The heated floors in the bathroom were perfect.
A great very informative tour of the Acropolis and Museum. Beautiful views.
Good walk through of the museums holdings.
Something everyone should see.
Very informative walk through. Included Library of Celsus, and other ruins. Talked about John and early Christians.
Great informative tour. Crowded too many people at tables for lunch. Long drive too and from.
Tour was a good walk through the city, but not well developed. Better ways to spend your time. Great views of the City.
