A travel agent recommended this cruise line. The ship was just fine, save for the sewer smell in the signature bar on 5th deck. It was there every time we stopped by.
The ship skews very old -- over 70 for sure. We are 60 and 58, but we were noticeably more active than most on this ship. Besides eating, drinking, sitting at pool and gambling, there just isn't anything really to do. Except ogle a few over-the-top jewelry shops and play with your wi-fi. One excursion on swim and beach cruise on St Maarten was fine, but nothing memorable.
Next, we purchased concierge level room. It was fine again, but there was absolutely nothing that suggested it was any better than entry level. We never saw or heard from a concierge, the cabin attendant was so-so, and there was nothing to justify the upgraded status and price.
Fine but nothing to write home about.
Food at place we walked to was better than most on ship. Had flavor.
