We had 10 cabins and were there to celebrate a birthday. I was expecting an unruly party crowd and was surprised to see people behaving maturely on this ship. Perhaps it was the time of year and the fact that kids were still in school. There were kids there but most were kept in check. The ship was easy to navigate and nothing was too far away. Cabin has only one plug so bring a strip. Nothing good on tv that has two complimentary movie channels. Casino is nice with all games, including craps. Bingo paid well if you won unlike Celebrity’s bingo. Water slide looked like a blast but it was too cold on this voyage. Entertainment that we saw was pretty boring. Dress like the 50’s, sing 50’s songs. Next night, dress like the 70’s, sing 70’s songs, etc. The high energy cruise director made things fun when he was in charge. Service in the cabin and the dining room were excellent. The food was good but not memorable. Karaoke was fun as was Papas and Beer in Ensenada. I would go on this cruise again. For an inexpensive getaway it can’t be beat.
The beds and bedding were very comfortable although if someone is tall they might find them a little short. There is only ONE PLUG in the main cabin but the one on the bathroom ceiling can be used. To turn the air on or off required me to stand and balance on the bed..not easy to do when the ship was rocking. If you’re over 5’7”, you could reach it without the balancing act. Hard to figure out how the shower worked. Low water pressure. Window was worth the extra price. All in all, the cabin was fine because I had read reviews and knew what to expect...brought along a multiplug so I could plug in all my ithings.
