Wonderful Christmas Cruise, boat decorated for the holiday season. Cruise was up the lower Mississippi River to Vicksburg MS to see the battle fields between the Union and Confederate soldiers of the civil war, history river boat cruise had a historian commentator on board for the whole trip. Visited cotton and sugar Plantations. All meals had 3 choices on the menu, a lot of times could not make a choice, all 3 were very good. The cabin rooms were spacious and laid out nicely, all cabins had a sliding door out to the balcony. The bathrooms excellent, glass door shower with real soap, not liquid, spacious and a lot of shelf space, cabinet with drawers, there was no step up to enter the bathroom. Entertainment was at the cocktail hour prior to open seating dinner, there was night time entertainment along with cocktails, excellent. Service through out the boat was outstanding, waiters, cabin stewards, house manager, tour director were always asking if you need anything, very friendly crew and friendly passengers. Had a Yankee swap on Christmas day, fun time. Pay one price, everything included, tips, shore excursions and beverages. Excellent Cruise, will do another river cruise.
