Our cabin had mold around the frame. Food was terrible (comparing to other Carnival ships). Overall the ship was dirty. Water and coffee had an algae/earthy taste as filters are not changed in the dispensing machines. French fries were always black due to old burnt oil. Be ware of the scams in the fun shop. I purchased a watch for $180.00 because of their great on board sale (which was a scam). The price tag was supposedly $995.00 (as per salesperson). At San Juan airport the same watch was $200.00 with a second one completely free. They inflate the prices purposely and then they pretend to give you a discount. Stay away from their art sales of overpriced posters. The buffet had very limited food. For the first time I actually lost weight on a cruise. the ship itself is rundown and rusty. I wrote to them to complain ad they just sent me a survey to fill up. The VIFP program is a joke; If you travel with them many times you get a free bottle of water in the cabin (BIG WOW). We didn't even go to their entertainment (always the same thing) I WILL NEVER cruise with carnival again

Port Reviews

San Juan

San Juan is beautiful to walk around

St. Thomas

nice beaches but they could be cleaner

St. Maarten

awesome place and beautiful beaches

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

This is actually my favorite destination. Unspoiled with crystal clear water, awesome beaches and scenery

Tried to solve this directly with Carnival but their customer service is worse than their ships
