We booked this cruise because we wanted something in the 3-5 day range, somewhere warm, and that spanned Christmas. Our ship was The Sun and embarkation went great. We showed up earlier than we were supposed to, but they were already boarding some groups. We waited a minimal amount of time. They tagged our bags outside, which showed up in our room later without any issues. Overall, I liked the ship. Everything was kept clean and in good condition. They need more public restrooms though. For food, we at at the Four Seasons, Garden Cafe, The Great Outdoors, Moderno Churrascaria, and Teppanyaki. The food at Moderno Churrascaria was amazing. Everything else food related was just average at best. The Garden Cafe can be a pain to navigate. The layout causes bottlenecks in a couple spots. On board entertainment was mixed. Most of the stuff in the Bliss Lounge was borderline terrible, the George Lopez wannabe in particular. The Rock You Tonight show was amazing and I would highly recommend it. We spent a couple nights in the Windjammer and the piano guy was pretty good. Our bartender there, Ardie, was amazing. As was Olga in the Spinnaker. Photography services were mixed. The pictures we seen were good, but several of our photo ops were not in our binder. The pricing on pictures is terribly expensive in my opinion. It cost us $150 for 5 pictures with digital copies. Laundry services were very expensive and the one time I used it, they didn't deliver until I called and reminded them, a day after it was expected. I would not rely on it if I were to cruise with NCL in the future. We had to tender at our second port, which delayed us almost 2 hours, only to find our excursion was canceled without reason. However, the ship staff on the pier were awesome at getting us another one booked ASAP.

With only one other cruise to compare to, this trip was sub-par. Unless there is some type of package in the future that is too good to refuse, I don't see us taking another NCL cruise.
