We chose this cruise as my wife and I always wanted to see Austria. This has nothing against the Ve, but Vienna is a large city. One day in the city is not enough time. We enjoyed Wassau Valley as words can’t describe his beautiful it is. Food was good. The only negative is that we felt our room was cramped. On the plus side, there are lot of extra amenities in the room such as a Flat screen TV, a small refrigerator, and a comfortable bed. The room service was excellent. I have a hearings disability. They have an excellent sound system for both tours and on ships. They were very accommodating to ensure my hearing aid and cochlear device works well with their sound system. I observed that the Ve personnel were very accommodating to limited mobility passengers. On a tour to Czech Republic, a passenger got tired while touring and the Ve proceeded to get him a cab and returned him to the ship 2 hours away. I was very impressed with Ve attending to all passengers. The shore excursions were good. Our favorite was the tour of Gotthiem Abbey. All service personnel were very good. If we have another opportunity, we will tour again with Viking.
We were not impressed with driving around and pointing things out to us although the quite was informative.
This was a driving and walking tour. The guide was knowledgeable but did make us feel welcome. They pointed things out to us but did not stopped to let us view up close
Very informative tour of the wall city. He was very knowledgeable of his town. He pointed out the good places to eat and what to drink. You can tell he was quite proud of his town
