I left NY the cruise terminal was nice and staff at the terminal were great from the workers outside handling the bags up to when I got to the check-in.
The ship was OK the smaller ships, in my opinion, are much nicer. This was the first time I booked a solo cabin. The cabin was small you walk in and the bed is to the left you have a very small shower and a separate toilet I usually book the spa so I never shower in the room. One thing I liked about the room is it had a big flat screen over the bed that had a view of the outside so you can see what the weather was like. another plus is the room is quiet because it is in the center of the ship and no kids running around. It also had a lounge but this lounge was depressing could have been decorated nicer and they need a TV.
The Spa on the ship was Horrible this was not worth the money very noisy I had to go back 2 sometimes 3 times to get a lounge chair could not relax it was more like a social club rather than a spa one woman was actually on her phone face-timing I did not spend all that money to listen to someone facetime the staff never said anything about the noise I complained but they did not care. When I was on the Gem the staff would walk around if it was noisy and tell the guests to be quiet or leave not on the Bliss!!! not sure about the woman's locker room but the men's locker room was very small only 39 lockers 3 showers 1 toilet and 3 small sinks that barely worked. If you're looking to relax save your money on the spa and use the Observation Lounge on deck 15 the lounge chairs are just as nice and some overlook the water and the lounge is much quieter then the spa.
Love St. Kitts one of my favorites
