We decided to go on this Pre Christmas Cruise with Family and Friends beacuse 3 of the family members cruised 2 years ago with the MSC Divina to say the least rhey where disappointed in the changes.. From December r5th-17th.
Although they gave myself and Husband matching status from Holland America and the Dining Staff was wonderful Francesco Grunelli and Reetesh Crustna Table 610 and our cabin steward. It started not well Embarkation waited for over 3 1/2 hours to board from 11 am-2:30 pm announced had problems with disemabarkation. The stateroom we had was okay for our needs except the company decided to try new TV system so no TV for about 5 of our cruise days except CNN and ESPN was all you could get. The Buffet area is Large to serve 4300 guests but still disorganized especially drink station areas poor placement. The Shows where somewhat okay 3 musical type but the rest classical or Opera we don't mind but others might and the show area is very cold be prepared to wear heavy clothing..Use the Adult Pool area quieter but be prepared to have loungers with towels on and no one comes back. Decided to take out Kleenex from cabins could not understand that started with our cruise. The ship is lovely and was decorated for Christmas.I got concerned for we had to go back to Fort Lauderdale Airport and that is a choice we had to make for we used Southwest So 7 of us had to make flights from 10 am.10:10 am and 11 am Be prepared to have a very disorganized disemabrkation no staff keeps control of early walk off which we all did and almost had a bad fight.Recommend do not go on MSC.
Okay for our needs pleasant enough.
